4/30/24 yeah lol I'm back to western date format, don't act like you don't convert in your head anyways. same with 24 hr time.

Still improving, but I stopped eating nuts, seeds and avocados because I don't really crave them. I think my microbiome has largely shifted to favor starch and some fruit. I don't think the brainfog was a result of me eating "too little fat" as my mom said. I've been eating just like brown rice with iodized salt, sweet potatoes, beans, bananas and carrots. That's very low fat but I'm still improving day by day. So it can't be the fat. I also stopped taking the DHA pills because they make my body heat up and disrupt my sleep. Dr. Fuhrman is the guy who recommended DHA pills to prevent dementia, but the more I learn about him the less I trust him. For one, he advocates for a fairly high-fat, low carb vegan diet, with an excessive amount of low-calorie nutrient-rich foods. He says beans should be your main starch, which is ridiculous. To get 2500 calories (around what I would need in a day) from beans alone, that would be 154g of protein! WTF. That's way too much! Not to mention beyond unpalatable. So I seriously doubt his judgement. Jeff Nelson has made some videos about him that cast further doubt on his credibility.

Of course, anyone reading should do their own research and come to their own conclusions. But for me the physical symptoms of taking DHA pills are enough to make me not want to do it.

Anyways the best diet seems to be pretty simple and very cheap. An opinion echoed by Jeff Nelson.

The rest of my family eats quite frankly a ridiculously high fat diet. They have meat, milk, butter, cheese, peanut butter, avocado or soy with every single meal. No wonder they're all sick and tired. And they think it's normal. Things were kind of put in perspective for me when I mentioned avocados and walnuts in discord and someone said "those are exotic".
